• 1 pòûnd Mïld Ità lïà n sà ûsà gë
• 1 yëllòw ònïòn, dïcëd, òptïònà l
• 2 pòûnds pëtïtë gòld pòtà tòës, thïnly slïcëd
• 1/2 tëà spòòn Pà prïkÃ
• 1 tëà spòòn Ità lïà n Sëà sònïng
• 1/2 tëà spòòn Gà rlïc Pòwër
• Fïnë sëà sà lt à nd frëshly crà ckëd pëppër
• 1/2 cûp Lòw-Sòdïûm Bëëf Bròth
• 2 cûps Shà rp Chëddà r Chëësë
• Optïònà l: frësh pà rslëy
1. In à là rgë skïllët òvër mëdïûm-hïgh hëà t, à dd thë sà ûsà gë à nd chòppëd yëllòw ònïòn (ïf dësïrëd). Bròwn thë sà ûsà gë à nd drà ïn òff à ny fà t. Add tò à 6 qûà rt cròckpòt.
2. Mëà nwhïlë, thïnly slïcë thë bà by gòld pòtà tòës (sëë sëcònd phòtò fòr sïzë; jûst ûndër 1/8th à n ïnch thïck). Add tò thë cròckpòt à lòng wïth thë pà prïkà , Ità lïà n sëà sònïng, gà rlïc pòwdër, à nd sà lt à nd pëppër. Sëà sòn tò tà stë wïth sà lt & pëppër; I ûsë 1/2 tëà spòòn sà lt à nd 1/4 tëà spòòn pëppër. Yòû cà n à lwà ys à dd mòrë à t thë ënd 🙂
3. Add ïn thë bëëf bròth. Stïr ëvërythïng tògëthër à nd còvër thë cròckpòt.
4. Còòk òn hïgh fòr 3-4 hòûrs òr lòw fòr 6-7 hòûrs òr ûntïl pòtà tòës à rë tëndër. Oncë ëvërythïng ïs fïnïshëd còòkïng, tà stë à nd à djûst sà lt à nd pëppër tò prëfërëncë.
5. Add thë frëshly grà tëd chëësë ïn à n ëvën là yër òvër ëvërythïng OR òn ïndïvïdûà l sërvïng plà tës (wë lïkë thïs wà y bëst!) à nd à llòw tò mëlt. Gà rnïsh ïf dësïrëd wïth frësh pà rslëy.
