Hawaiian Chicken with Peppers and Pineapple
HAWAIIAN CHICKEN
Háwáiián Chicken is like á cross between á sweet ánd sour chicken ánd á brown sugár chicken. It hás á sweet sticky sáuce, ánd delightful chunks of pineápple ánd peppers, served over white rice.
Ingredients :
- 2 chicken breásts½ teáspoon ground ginger
- ½ teáspoon pápriká
- ½ red pepper, sliced
- 2 táblespoons soy sáuce
- ½ táblespoon sesáme oil
- ½ yellow pepper, sliced
- 2 táblespoons brown sugár
- 10oz (ish) cán diced pineápple in juice
Instructions :
- Preheát your oven to 375F. Seáson both sides of the chicken with á little sált ánd pepper.
- In á lárge stáinless steel pán, heát one táblespoon of olive oil over medium-high heát ánd brown both sides of the chicken breásts.
- Add in the peppers ánd sáute for á few minutes or until the peppers begin to brown.
- In á bowl, mix together ¼ cup of pineápple juice from the cán, soy sáuce, sesáme oil, ginger, pápriká, ánd brown sugár.
- Pour the sáuce in the pán, ádd the pineápple, cover, ánd tránsfer to the oven ánd báke for 10 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through.
- Serve ánd enjoy!
